Buffalo Hospital, located on the western edge of the Twin Cities metro area in Buffalo, Minn., has twice been named as the Best Minnesota Hospital Workplace. It is a state-of-the-art facility with expanded or new facilities for emergency, urgent care, diagnostic imaging, surgery and outpatient center, cardiac center, sleep center and rehabilitation. The care team is noted for its passion in providing personalized, patient-centered care for nearly 66,000 inpatients and outpatients each year.

Responsibilities:

Postpartum and newborn nursery care (couplet care). Level 2 nursery, care of antepartum and labor patients.


Qualifications:


Education:
RN.



Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of postpartum, nursery, and at least 6 months of L&D preferred.



Skills:
Excellent communication and computer skills.

Licensure/Certifications: BLS, RN license required.

Not all positions consider new grads; if the qualifications above state "New grads will be considered" the new grad hires must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing)."


Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule


- High committment casual position.
- Day/Evening/Night shifts.
- Prime Time: Six pre-scheduled shifts per four week schedule, plus on call every 3rd weekend Nights or evenings.
- Non-Prime Time: Four pre-scheduled shifts per four week schedule, plus on call every 3rd weekend Nights or evenings.
