This includes oversight of patient scheduling and chart preparation, review of quality of acquisitions and scoring, troubleshooting equipment, technical resource for staff, patients and physicians, ensuring appropriate education and competencies of technical staff, coaching and mentoring staff, timely performance reviews.  Exclusively day shift with occasional night shifts as needed.  During the night shift, the coordinator will assume the technologist's role and will be responsible for the acquisition of high quality PSG.<br/><br/><br/><b>Qualifications:</b><br/><br/><br/>Knowledge of the specialized field of Polysomnography, EEG technology or Respiratory Care. BLS required Three or more years of extensive experience in sleep acquisition and scoring. Excellent communication and teaching skills Able to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude Thorough knowledge of all aspects of sleep disorders The clinical coordinator will provide clinical expertise with regards to lab operations, budgeting, and staffing needs.
