Provide psychological assessment, direct patient care and clinical supervision of mental health practitioners within the scope of Adult Day Treatment for individuals living with HIV/AIDS and concomitant mental illness. Qualifications:


- Minimally a Master?s degree in Psychology or closely related field from an accredited university.

- This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Sleep Center. This includes oversight of patient scheduling and chart preparation, review of quality of acquisitions and scoring, troubleshooting equipment, technical resource for staff, patients and physicians, ensuring appropriate education and competencies of technical staff, coaching and mentoring staff, timely performance reviews. Mercy Hospital, located in Coon Rapids, Minn. serves the northern metropolitan communities with a full continuum of care and services and has been nationally recognized for its expertise and outcomes in cardiovascular care. With 2,300 employees and 239 staffed beds, Mercy provides inpatient and outpatient services to nearly 140,000 patients each year. It shares its nearly 842-physician medical staff with Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minn.

Responsibilities:

Patient set-up and monitoring/data acquisition of PSG tests/MSLT/MWT, patient education/instruction, calibration, operation and troubleshooting of PSG technology, sleep staging and scoring.


Qualifications:


- Graduate of an AMA approved school of RT or PSG, credentialed as RT-SDS or RPGST.
- 3 years experience in PSG testing, skilled and knowledgeable in sleep study scoring.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, assessment and critical thinking, able to work independently, computer skills.
- BLS certification.

*This is a temporary assignment for 6-12 months.*
