Responsibilities:

To perform duties for a variety of ultrasound exams in accordance with policies of the imaging department, to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment.


Qualifications:


Education/Experience :
ARDMS registered or registry eligible. BLS certification. Previous ultrasound experience, one year preferred. OB/GYN ultrasound experience along with general US.

- Produces good quality imaging studies for physicians to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
- Adapts procedures and techniques to accommodate neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Works efficiently with others to increase department productivity.


Qualifications:


Education/Experience :


- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Ultrasonography.
- Registry eligible (must be registered within 1 year of hire).
- 1 year of experience preferred.



Skills:


- Knowledge of computers.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills.
- Work is physically demanding: standing, bending, lifting and pushing.
